Sooper Yooper presentation at Carnegie Museum
Mark Newman, author of the Sooper Yooper, highlighted the impacts of invasive species in the Great Lakes for an audience of about two dozen youngsters and their families at the Carnegie Museum on Wednesday evening.

"I don't want it to be over."
"They loved it!"
"Please come present at our school in the fall."

"I was impressed with the great interaction and responses of the children," observed Susan DeKeyser, a teacher at E.B. Holman School. "This topic is extremely important. I'd be thrilled to have a presentation at my school."

Newman shared his passion for writing, protecting the Great Lakes, and the many projects that he and his friend and artist, Mark Heckman, have collaborated on over the past two decades.

Schools can contact Mark Newman <newman.mark@mac.com> to arrange FREE assembly programs at their school.
