Lake Linden-Hubbell Middle School Grade 8

Project Description
40 8thGrade Students / 5 Teachers

The Lake Linden-Hubbell 8th grade class is "adopting" the shoreline of Torch Lake from the public boat launch, through the Village Park, and around the Lake Linden sands to the mouth of the Trap Rock River. Students will monitor, preserve, and enhance the shoreline though trash pick-ups, planting native shrubs to reduce shoreline erosion and increase bird diversity, and providing benches and interpretive signs to enhance recreation and appreciation of the area for residents and visitors.
