Stewardship means taking care of something or looking after something - a sense of commitment. A wide range of stewardship needs in our local community have been identified by local teachers, school administrators, community organizations, and natural resource agencies, including:

  • Water quality monitoring and protection
  • Stream restoration
  • Invasive species control
  • Maintaining open space for public use
  • Wetlands protection and restoration
  • Protecting and restoring declining fish and wildlife populations
