2020-21 Lake Superior Stewardship Initiative ONLINE Professional Learning Series

The Lake Superior Stewardship Initiative (LSSI) will present a biweekly Professional Learning Series this school year for K-12 Teachers and community members in the western U.P., and statewide, to enhance Great Lakes stewardship, facilitate outdoor learning, deepen understanding through place- and project- based learning opportunities and foster a community of learners.

This is a joint project between the Lake Superior Stewardship Initiative which is a collaboration of the Western UP MiSTEM Network, MTU�s Center for Science & Environmental Outreach, and regional partners to connect schools and communities in the stewardship of Lake Superior and its Watershed.

Funding provided by grants awarded by: MiSTEM Network Advisory Council, NOAA B-Wet, and NASA/MSGC Virtual Field Explorations
