8th grade Eco-Challenge Team at Houghton Middle School Wins $10,000
8th grade Eco-Challenge Team at Houghton Middle School finished 'Round 1' of the challenge in early December.
Today, the team learned they WON THE FIRST ROUND of the competition!

They will receive $10,000 in cash to be split between the students, Houghton Middle School, and teacher Sarah Geborkoff (for classroom supplies).

Only 8 middle school teams nation-wide won this award, so these kids have a lot to be proud of! With the award comes an invitation to participate in round 2 (which begins this month) so our work now continues!
