MDE Top 10 in 10 Road Show set for May 2nd in Marquette
See attached flyer from the Michigan Department of Education, providing some of the details for the Departmentís Top 10 in 10 Roadshow. This is an excellent opportunity to make greater connections with the Department of Education. MDE is attempting to begin an important conversation for improving Michiganís education. This includes making better connections between schools and their community organizations. The opportunity is here. We need to seize it and engage in every way possible!

This event will highlight local exemplars, including the LSSI team at Washington Middle School in Calumet. Darrell Hendrickson, lead teacher, will present on their LSSI project over the past 10 years.

This is a collaboration of MDE, along with their partners, including the Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative, Michigan Math & Science Centers Network, and others.

The one event scheduled for the UP will be Tuesday, May 2nd, from 8:30-3 pm, at Marquette-Alger RESA. The registration link is on the flyer.
