Place-based, Interdisciplinary Watershed Literacy for K-12 Teachers and Community Partners

June 20, 24-28 ~ participate for one day or more!
8:30 � 4:00 daily

June 20: Invasive Species
June 24: Meaningful Watershed Summer Institute Day 1
June 25: Meaningful Watershed Summer Institute Day 2
June 26: Geo-investigations through Virtual Field Experiences
June 27: Jacob Riis: How the Other Half Lives (KNHP Educator Worship)
June 28: Beyond Trinkets: Student Designed Solutions Using 3D Printers and Other STEM Tools

FREE Summer Teacher Institute Includes:
� Transportation to field sites
� Lunch each day
� Teacher resources
� Career explorations
� LSSI Mini -grant opportunities (must attend at least Days 1 & 2)
� SCECHs (5 - 40 pending)

Presenters will include teacher leaders and others from the Western UP MiSTEM Region, Mi-STAR, MTU Center for Science and Environmental Outreach, Keweenaw National Historical Park, Keweenaw Invasive Species Management Area, REMC1, and more!
