FREE, three-day institute; participate for one day or more!
Many topics, one institute! Deepen your understanding of 3-dimensional and place-based learning through field explorations in Keweenaw Bay; explore STEM careers through subjects such as coastal hazards, climate change, geoheritage, and our relationships with land and water; investigate geoheritage and Virtual Reality cameras, consider mini-grant opportunities.

Attendance for a minimum of 1 day is a requirement for Western U.P. schools seeking LSSI Stewardship Project Mini-grants in 2022-2023 (up to $1000). Preference will be given to teacher teams (one or more teachers from the same school).
Presented by the Lake Superior Stewardship Initiative, with the support of area teacher experts. Funded by grants from the Native American Heritage Fund, NOAA B-WET, Michigan Space Grant Consortium, and the MiSTEM Network.
