Copper Harbor students study watersheds...with Lloyd Wescoat

Last school year, Lloyd Wescoat engaged the six students at the Copper Harbor School in learning about watersheds, water cycle, and the plants and animals found in the habitats through which the water flows. Each Monday morning, Lloyd visited this one-room schoolhouse with another science lesson that often included a field trip outdoors. An article by Connie Sherry describing the Monday science program is on the front page of the UP Environmental Coalition's Fall 2012 newsletter "UP Environment," along with a photo of Lloyd, teacher Diane Trudgeon, and the students.
